Slots & PPR:

No slots and no PPR required when operating to Riviera Airport.

There are also no peak periods at ALL, LIMG.

The lead time for the processing of permits at Riveria Airport is immediate.

However, when travelling to other destinations in Italy – kindly keep in mind that Commercial & Private Operations require a traffic landing permit, and will require to file a flight plan instead of acquiring an overflight permit or technical landing permit.

For non-scheduled flights and single flights, the application for traffic landing permit should be submitted 05 days in advance.

However, for private flights, the application should be submitted 24 hours prior to the flight operation. All operators are requested to coordinate the slots with the respective airports before applying for the landing permission.

FBO Facilities:

Aeroporto di Villanova d’Albenga has their own private FBO facility at ALL, LIMG – dedicated completely to private aircraft.

At the moment, there is a waiting area specific for VVIP passengers.

However, there are new developments being planned that will create a major General Aviation airport for the Italian Riviera aimed to attract clients travelling to Monaco, South of France and North-West Italy. 

Visas, Customs & Immigration:

Airport access for crew is available.

European nationalities do not require a visa when travelling to Italy. Russian and United States nationals do require a visa when travelling to Italy.
